At 126 pounds, Logan Sherer returned to action for the Dragons. The Dragon youngster battled his way to a 6-3 decision over his Cobra opponent to narrow the Cobra lead to 10-9. W/ML took control of the dual for good, as they won the next four matches, recording a major decision, two forfeits, and a fall.
Beau Bullerman ended the Cobra winning streak, as he came from behind to earn a fall over Jeff Wright in the 160 pound match, making the team score 32-15 in favor of the visitors. The Cobras accepted a forfeit at 170 pounds, before forfeiting to the Dragons at 182 and 195 pounds respectively. The Cobras held a 38-27 lead with two matches to go, giving the Dragons an opportunity to win the dual if they were to pin in the last two matches. The Cobras’, Jabari Carlton, ended the Dragon hopes of victory, as he earned a fall, sealing the W/ML victory.
