The Adrian Dragons Boys’ Basketball team defeated the Fulda Raiders 69 to 56 in a Red Rock Conference match-up that took place on the Dragons home floor. The Dragons shot 22 of 58 from the field for 38% and 20 of 30 from the free throw line for 67%.
Ryan Wieneke led the Dragons in scoring with 16 points. Zachary Hendel and Mitchell Lonneman each added 15 points. Lonneman grabbed 13 rebounds. Zachary Bierman had 9 points and Tristian White chipped in with 6 points off the bench.
The Dragons improved to 5-3 in Red Rock Conference play and have an overall record of 9-6.
Adrian 53 W-WG 64
The Dragon Boys’ Basketball team traveled to Westbrook to face the Westbrook-Walnut Grove Chargers in a Red Rock Conference match-up. The Chargers defeated the Dragons 64 to 53. The Dragons shot 22 of 55 for 40% from the floor against the Chargers. Mitchell Lonneman led the Dragons with 17 points and seven rebounds. Jacob Stamer added 16 points and three assists. Stamer connected on two of four three-point shot attempts. Ryan Wieneke added nine points in the Dragon effort.
The Dragons dropped to 5-4 in Red Rock Conference play and now have a 9-7 overall record.
