The Dragon tracksters traveled to Worthington on May 17th to compete in the Trojan relays. Many Dragons took the opportunity to step into events they had not competed in before.
Logan Ahlers set a personal best time of 24.58a in the 200M race for a fourth place finish and also had a fourth place finish in the 100M race. Brendyn White ran to a seventh place finish in the 200M race. Brendyn White ran to a fourth place finish in the 400M race and Dakota John set a personal best time of 59.14a in the 400M race. Jade Swank set a personal best time in the 800M race and Alex Fuerstenberg finished in sixth place in the 1600M race. Brody Loosbrock finished in sixth in the 3200M race. The 4×100 relay team of Hunter Heitkamp, Kasey Madtson, Frank Serrao and Zach Bierman crossed the finish in third place as did the 4×200 relay team of Zach Biernan, Hunter Heitkamp, Frank Serrao and Logan Ahlers. Dylan Gyberg threw a 34-07.50 for seventh place honors in the shot put. Tucker Wieneke tossed the discus 72.08 for fourteenth place. Zach Bierman leaped to fourth place in the long jump. Michael Pruess brought home second place honors in the triple jump followed by Dakota John in fifth place.
