Holiday Tournament Finals
Adrian vs. Red Rock Central
On Wednesday, December 28th, The Adrian Dragon Boys Basketball team took second place in the Wabasso Holiday Tournament Championship game. The Dragons lost to the Red Rock Central Falcons 58 to 47.
Mitchell Lonneman led the Dragons with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Zachary Bierman had 9 points and made three of four three-point field goal attempts. Zachary Hendel and Nate Lonneman had 8 points each for the Dragons. Frank Serrao had 5 points off the bench for Adrian. The Dragons had a few turnovers in the final minutes that made it difficult to overcome.
The Dragons are 5-3 on the season and will return to conference play on Thursday, January 5th when they travel to Heron Lake-Okabena.
