On January 18, having the home court advantage and outrebounding the other team, the Lady Dragons were able to seal the deal and defeat the MCC Rebels with a score of 51-46. Senior Hannah Bullerman had an outstanding game for the Dragons putting up 18 points, pulling down five rebounds, and grabbing three steals. Paige Bullerman and Bailey Lonneman pulled down 9 and 8 rebounds respectively for the team. Sophomore, Moriah Bullerman, dished out four assists for the night and put in 35 minutes taking care of the basketball for the Dragons.
For MCC, Rachel Van Iperen, put up 14 points along with Amanda Muecke tallying 11 points. Sophomore, 6’2” Alyssa Groves, had seven blocks for Slayton which made it difficult for the posts to score.
