On Thursday, January 5th the Adrian Boys Basketball team won 67 to 30 over the Heron-Lake Okabena Wildcats. The Dragons raced out to an early lead and never trailed in the game.
Jacob Stamer led the Dragons with 15 points. Mitchell Lonneman added 11 points, Nate Lonneman and Zachary Hendel each added 10 points and three rebounds for the Dragons cause. The Dragons shot 22/46 for 48% from the field and 5/7 for 71% from the three point line.
The Dragons won the rebounding battle 31 to 21. Minneota travels to Adrian on Monday January 9th and Hills-Beaver Creek visits Adrian on Tuesday, January 10th. The Dragons are 4-0 in Red Rock Conference play and 6-3 overall.
