The Adrian Dragons Boys’ Basketball team traveled to Fulda in a non-conference match-up. The Dragons won 58 to 46 after falling behind 13 to 2 early in the first half.
The Dragons shot 19 of 51 from the field for 37% and made 14 of 20 free throws for 70%. Ryan Wieneke led the Dragons with 15 points. Zachary Hendel had 12 points and 5 rebounds. Mitchell Lonneman had 10 points and 9 rebounds. Tristian White had 8 points while going 2 of 4 from three-point range.
The Dragons improved their record to 12-7 overall.
Adrian 66 HBC 58
The Dragon Boys’ Basketball team traveled to Hills-Beaver Creek in a Red Rock Conference match-up. The Dragons won 66 to 58.
The Dragons shot 26 of 62 for 42% from the field. The Dragons made four three-point shots on 11 attempts. Mitchell Lonneman had 19 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Dragons balanced scoring attack. Zachary Hendel and Ryan Wieneke each added 13 points. Zachary Bierman had 11 points and converted on all three, three-point field goal attempts. Nate Lonneman had 10 points off the bench for Adrian.
The Dragons improved their conference record to 8-4 and their overall record to 13-7.
