Minneota defeats Adrian at home
The Dragon Boys’ Basketball team hosted the Minneota Vikings on February 11th. The Vikings are the top-ranked team in Class A. The Vikings won the contest 90 to 44. The Dragons were led by Christian Weidert and Noah Reyne, who each tallied 14 points. Lance Luttel added 6 points for the Dragons. Reyne led the Dragon defense with 8 rebounds. Adrian falls to 6-11 overall and 4-7 in Red Rock Conference action.
Dragons travel to Red Rock Central
The Adrian Dragons Boys’ Basketball team traveled to Lamberton on Friday, February 15th to take on the Falcons in a Red Rock Conference match-up. The Falcons beat out the Dragons with a score of 59 to 35. The Dragons were led by Noah Reyne, who had 17 points and 4 rebounds. Ian Stamer recorded 7 points. The Dragons fall to 4-7 in conference play and 6-12 overall.
Adrian wins over Panthers
On Saturday, February 16, the Dragon Boys’ Basketball team hosted the Ellsworth Panthers in a Red Rock Conference contest. The Dragons prevailed 62 to 59! The Dragons made 9 of 22 three-point shots for 41% and shot 36% overall from the field. The Dragons were led by Ian Stamer’s 22 points, making 4 of 8 shots from behind the three-point line. Noah Reyne had 18 points, sinking 7 of 8 from the free throw line. Dakota John added 8 points and Lance Luettel chipped in 7. The Dragons improved to 5-7 in conference play and 7-12 overall.
