Edgerton vs Adrian
The Dragons defeated the Flying Dutchmen of Edgerton by the score of 65 to 42 on Tuesday, December 13th in Adrian. This was the first home game of the season for the Dragons. The Dragons found themselves trailing 12 to 3 with 11 minutes to play in the first half. The Dragons held a slim 28 to 22 halftime lead. The Dragons shot 51% from the field, compared to Edgerton’s 39%. Zachary Hendel led the Dragons with 20 points and four rebounds. Ryan Wieneke added 13 points for Adrian. Jacob Stamer, Frank Serrao and Tristian White each added 7 points in the winning effort. Mitchell Lonneman led the Dragons with 6 rebounds. The Dragons improved their record to 4-0.
Adrian at Wabasso
In the Wabasso Holiday Tournament, the Dragons beat Wabasso by the score of 67 to 37. The Dragons shot 27 of 45 from the field for 60%. Adrian led 36 to 24 at halftime and pushed the temp to begin the second half.
Zachary Hendel paced the Dragons with 18 points. Mitchell Lonneman added 17 points. Jacob Stamer chipped in with 11 points. Ryan Wieneke added 7 points and 3 assists. Frank Serrao and Nate Lonneman each contributed with 6 points off the bench. The Dragons will play for the Wabasso Tournament Championship on Wednesday, December 28th. With the victory over Wabasso, Adrian improves its record to 5-0.
