Douglas Lee Heeren, 62, of Lead, South Dakota passed away on Tuesday, April 18th at his home in the Hills.
Doug was born April 16, 1955, in Worthington, MN. Doug grew up and farmed near Magnolia and in November 1987, he married Robin Herman. During their marriage, he and Robin were blessed with two daughters, Sierra and Chantel. He continued to farm in the Magnolia area until 2014 when he and Robin made the move to Lead, SD, in the heart of the Black Hills, which he loved so much.
Doug is survived by: his wife, Robin, two daughters Sierra (Steven) Beardsworth of Rapid City, SD and Chantel Heeren of Sioux Falls, SD.
