Funeral Services for Dennis Lupkes, 70, of Sioux Falls, SD were held on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at the Church of Christ in Rushmore, MN. Dennis passed away on September 2, 2017 at Palisades Health Care in Garretson, SD. Dennis LeRoy Lupkes was born on December 26, 1946 to Aielt H. and Ethel M. (Hieronimus) Lupkes in Worthington, MN. He graduated from Adrian High School. Dennis went on to work at SMC and most recently Sioux Steel in Sioux Falls.
Dennis enjoyed watching baseball, racing and other sports, particularly the Twins and Vikings. He especially loved watching his sons play sports.
Dennis is survived by: his sons, Chad (Amy) Lupkes and Eric (Tammy) Lupkes of Hartford; daughter, Chelsea Lupkes of Winner; six grandchildren; and brothers, Donald (Eileen) Lupkes and Roger (Henrietta) Lupkes.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three children, Rhonda, Renee and Troy Lupkes, three brothers, Richard, Francis and William and one sister, Janice.
