Just in time for the Christmas in July celebration, Adrian will see another business open on Maine Avenue. Carrie Domeyer is the sole owner of Hoarder’s Haven, LLC located in the old Archery Building at 204 Maine Avenue. Carrie will have a sneak peek this weekend, Saturday, July 19th from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, July 20 from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. These are special opening weekend hours, a complete listing of daily hours will be coming later.

Hoarders Haven, LLC is an antique store where everything in the store is vintage, primitive or antique. Carrie has a variety of inventory in stock including high end china sets, old dolls, furniture, tobacco signs, old tools, glassware, headboards along with a huge selection of vintage items. Carrie also has a personal collection of Adrian items that is on display. Carrie has been collecting for years, she jokes “I always said my garage looks like a hoarders.” She has found many treasurers at auctions, garage sales, estate sales and even while cleaning out old groves for people. Her parents got her interested in collecting by bringing her along to sales as she was growing up. She has been collecting on her own for about ten years now. Boyfriend Kyle Strampe and sons Cole and Colin Domeyer have been supportive and have provided hours of sweat and labor for this new endeavor.

The full store will be open this weekend, but during the week Carrie will have the front of the store open and will open the back area on weekends. She will also be selling items out of inventory on ebay and Craigslist and will sell for others on commission. With her years of antique/vintage hunting she can also look for those hard-to-find items to add to your collections. You can get a hold of Carrie at Hoarders Haven, LLC at 507-827-2020 with your request.

Come down to Hoarders Haven on Maine and check out what treasures Carrie has in her inventory.
