“I look back to when I came to Adrian in 2002 and I don’t always recognize myself in that young man,” admits Adrian High School teacher, Jason Olson.  “I look back at some of the things I did as a new teacher and think about some of the early mistakes I made  -  who WAS that kid?”  Olson came to Adrian a few months after he graduated from Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall.  “I toiled very hard in the days leading up to my first day teaching at Adrian, making sure every pencil was in place, and every paper organized,” Olson said in his speech given during AHS Graduation ceremonies on May 16, “Little did I know that it would be the last day in twelve years that either of those things would be true.”
