The Memorial Day program will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 26th at the American Legion Hall in Lismore. Following the program, there will be services held at the St. Anthony Cemetery, Lismore Cemetery and the St. Anthony West Cemetery.  Everyone is invited back to the Legion Hall following the cemetery services for a community potluck dinner. There is always plenty to go around, so please join them.

  Vera Loonan will be 95 on June 4, 2014. Cards may be sent to her at PO Box 135, Lismore, MN.

Get well wishes to Sandy Spidel as she undergoes hip replacement surgery this week and happy belated birthday wishes to Harry Spidel as he celebrated his 90th birthday.   

Ct. St. Bernard #886 Catholic Daughters will be praying the rosary on Wednesday, May 21st at 6:45 p.m. (note the change of time).

Mark Luettel was surprised when his family gathered on Saturday to celebrate his milestone 60th birthday. Culprits who were in on the secret were: his wife, Pam; daughters Jennifer Luettel & Jason Greenfield and Lindsay & Bruce Meyeraan and Ian; his sons, Keith Luettel & Emily Zimmerlee, and Corey & Tara Luettel and Ainsley and Oliver; and his mother-in-law, Joyce Erdman.  They enjoyed grilling out---it was a great day for a great guy!!!!  On Sunday--his actual birthday--Joyce joined Pam, Mark, and Jennifer for breakfast at Perkins in Worthington.  They always have a good time together. 

  Trish Katcher from Davenport, IA was a weekend guest in the home of her good friend, Kate & Bruce McCann.  They had a great time celebrating the graduation of Andy McCann from Adrian High School.

  At their monthly meeting on Wednesday, Ct. St. Bernard #886 made plans to hold their annual salad and hot dish luncheon on Wednesday, June 4th.  

Lucas Bartl, son of Rick & Linda Bartl, was guest of honor at his graduation party in Mitchell, SD and Amber Preuss, daughter of Tom & Christy of Adrian, was honored at the “family” home in Lismore.  Guests at both receptions included: Debby & Frank Wieneke and Darleen Lutmer, all of Adrian; Tracy & Luke Sursely, Sioux City, IA; Darin Wieneke and Kaia & Adrian, Minneapolis; Dave & Joyce Kanten, Fulda; Gary Lutmer and his wife, Roxy Scholl, St. James; Lindsey Rydlund, Fridley; Bruce & Ruth Lutmer, Brooklyn Park; Rick & Linda Lutmer and Adam, Omaha, NE; Katie Lutmer, Lincoln, NE; Lori Delano and a friend, Doug, Annandale; Patty Johnson, Jeff Lutmer, Cody Lutmer and Dave & Deb Lutmer, all of Lismore. 

  Brad Diekmann, Chanhassen was a guest in the home of his mother, Doris Diekmann.  He came especially to attend the graduation of Jacob Bullerman-Diekmann from Adrian High School.

  Nichole Loosbrock, daughter of Bruce & Brenda, is home for the summer from her studies at Benedictine College in Atchison, KS.  

Congratulations to Alice Reker & Kishan Singh as they were married on Saturday at St. Adrian.  The Singh’s will make their home in Sioux Falls, SD where they both are employed.

  Weekend guests in the Ken & Vickie Leinen home were:  Cher Myer, Metro area; Michelle Stanton,  Doug & Leah Brandt, Judy Brandt & her friend, Keith and Jenny & Jared Stone, all of Rochester.  They came especially to attend the graduation reception for McKenna Leinen from Adrian High School.  

Last month, Bruce & Brenda Loosbrock traveled to Omaha to attend the wedding of Molly Daneen.  Molly was Mary Jean Loosbrock's college roommate.  Last weekend, Bruce, Brenda, and Mary Jean flew to Albuquerque, New Mexico for the wedding of John Hitchcock and Teresa Sloan (daughter of  Mike & Roxanne Loosbrock (Sloan).
