Thier and Grussing selected to Red Rock All-Conference Teams

Elizabeth Thier, left, was selected to the Red Rock All Conference Team and Bailey Grussing was selected as part of the Honorable Mention All Conference Team.
Elizabeth is the daughter of Ron and Kellie Thier, Baily is the daughter of Richard and Kim Grussing.
Junior Elizabeth Thier has been selected to the 2013-2014 Red Rock All-Conference First Team. Thier a two-time letter winner led the Adrian girlís basketball team with a 14.9 points per game scoring average this season. She also led her team with a 73% freethrow average making 99 charity tosses in 135 tries. Her longest consecutive freethrow streak consisted of 19 straight, just four shy of the school record. She also was awarded certificates for second leading rebounder with a 5.3 average, while leading her team in assists with a 3.2 average (71 total) and steals with a 2.1 average (47 total).In Red Rock Conference play, Thier was the conference 4th leading scorer with a 19 points per game average. She also ranked number one in assists with a 4.3 average, 3rd in FT %: 77.6%, 15th steals: 2.3 average, and 18th rebounds: 6.8 average.

Bailey Grussing, a senior, was selected as part as an eleven member Honorable Mentioned squad. Grussing was Adrianís second leading scorer this season with an 8.8 average and led her team with a 6.0 rebound average. In Red Rock Conference play, Grussing scored 9.4 points per game, good for 25th place. She averaged 5.4 rebounds a game as well. Elizabeth is the daughter of Ron and Kellie Thier, Baily is the daughter of Richard and Kim Grussing.
