Chris Hodapp is remembered by many in Adrian as the server who sliced the prime rib at the Sunday buffet at the Countryside Inn. While he enjoyed serving food, Chris' real interest was in preparing food.
For Chris, the son of Mark and Debra Hodapp, his love of cooking started when he was growing up on the farm. "I was always cooking for the family."
After graduating Adrian High School, Chris studied at the Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School in Minneapolis. From there, he went on to work as a Chef and as an Executive Banquet Sous Chef for the Sun Valley Resort in Idaho.
After five years, Chris relocated back to Minnesota. He is is currently the Executive Chef at the Rochester International Events Center. He lives in the Rochester area with his wife, Dawn, a Pastry Chef also employed at the Rochester International Events Center, and their 20-month old son, Payton.
In addition to all of these titles, Chris can add "2013 Chef One Winner" to the list.
