Ray & Bette LeBrun were Easter weekend guests with the Steve LeBrun family in Lafayette. Other guests Saturday and/or Sunday were: Kyle & Tina LeBrun and Elaine & Todd Dressen of Arco and Mark Dressen of Maple Grove.  Enroute home Ray & Bette stopped in Walnut Grove to visit with her sister and husband,  Rose & Alan Pedersen.

Lacy Weidert of Lake Crystal and Nina Weidert of USD-Vermillion were home for the weekend with their parents, Jim & Kris Weidert.  The Weiderts hosted the Weidert Easter on Sunday.  The young and young-at-heart enjoyed a great Easter Egg hunt.  

Enjoying an Easter weekend in Fargo, ND were: Layne & Luann Nelson and family, Stanley, ND; Gene & Linda Diekmann, Savage; Ken & Sharon Rupp and girls, Granite Falls; Brad Diek-mann, Chanhassen; Jim & Marcie Cowan, Iona; Bruce & Ginny Bertrand, Slayton and Jeff & Jill Diekmann and Jinger and Doris Diekmann, all of Lismore.  

The CCW of St. Anthony parish will meet on Wednesday, April 3rd at 7:00 p.m.  Changes to the bylaws will be reviewed.  

Deb Lutmer was a Thursday overnight guest in the home of her sister, Carol Giroux in Wheaton.  She also visited with their family friend, Joyce Randall at the Browns Valley Health Care Center.  

Weekend Easter guests in the home of Marv & Ruth Lorang were: Susan & Todd Roerig and Isaac, Noah & Grace, Lawton, IA: Tom & Molly Lorang and Kate & Keagan, Redwood Falls; Jean & Ivan Vargas and Lucy, Owen & Phoebe, and Ivan’s mother, Rose Vargas, all of Dell Rapids and Kevin Lorang, Minneapolis. Kevin’s counterpart, Yig Malca is in Peru for a couple weeks with her own family.  The Lorangs had a full house but Marv and Ruth loved every minute of it!

  Lindsay Loosbrock, daughter of Gary & Vickie, will be honored at a bridal shower on Saturday, April 6th beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the American Legion Hall.  Lindsay is the bride-to-be of Ryan Henning, son of Scott & Kathy of Adrian.  

The Lismore Cooperative Telephone Company will hold its annual stockholders meeting on Wednesday, April 10th at the American Legion Hall. Three directors will be elected and the financial report for 2012 will be reviewed.  Lunch and door prizes will follow the business meeting.

  The family home of Darleen Lutmer was busy for Easter weekend. Those spending the weekend or just for dinner or a visit on Sunday were:  Frank & Debby Wieneke and Christy & Tom Preuss and family, all of Adrian; Tracy & Lucas Sursley, Madison, SD; Darin Wieneke and his wife, Maria Vu and Kaia and Adrian, St. Paul; Dave & Deb Lutmer, Jeff Lutmer, Cody Lutmer, and Patty Johnson, all of Lismore; Joyce Kanten, Fulda; Gary Lutmer and his wife, Roxy Scholl and Jared Lutmer, all of St. James; Linda & Rick Bartl & Lucas, Mitchell, SD; Rick & Linda Lutmer and Katie, Omaha, NE; Tim Lutmer, Alexandria; and Casey Johnson and Alyx, and Will Lutmer & McCall Heitkamp, all of Sioux Falls, SD.

  Our sympathy to the Barry Sauer family on the loss of his father, William (Bill) Sauer of rural Fulda.  Bill was a very active in the church and community and spent twenty years serving as a county commissioner in Murray County. He enjoyed a lot of hobbies and shared many fun times with his grandkids. May he rest in peace.    

Weekend guests in the Alan & Ellen Henning home were Lucas & Sarah Darling and Kamryn of Brandon, SD.  Sunday dinner guests included the Darlings, Ashley Baszler and Jack, Brookings, SD; Ashley Thier, SDSU and Joe Henning, Earl Hebig and Veryl & Avis Stoffel, all of Lismore.  

Doug & Laura Loosbrock were Easter dinner guests in the home of her brother, Mark & Annie Opitz in Luverne.

  Joyce Erdman enjoyed Easter dinner at the MN Veterans Home in Luverne with her husband, Earl Erdman who is a resident.   Visiting in the afternoon were: Pam & Mark Luettel, Adrian; Keith Luettel and friend Emily, Minnetonka; Peggy Meyer, Rushmore; Alyssa Meyer, St. Cloud; Gail Erdman, Primghar, IA; Mike Erdman, Lismore and Heather Kilffer, Leota.

  Elmer & Judy Wieneke were Saturday guests in the home of their son, Paul & Joan Wieneke in New Ulm.  Jason Wech, fiancé’ of their granddaughter, Elizabeth, was a member of the RCIA group that was initiated into the Catholic faith at the Holy Saturday Mass.

  Easter weekend guests in the home of their parents, Bruce & Brenda Loosbrock were:  Stephen, Mary Jean and Nicole, all from Benedictine College in Atchinson, KS.
