| Dragons Claim Section 3AA Title Head to State Wrestling Team Tournament |

It was a night of big matches as the Dragons captured the Section 3AA title. For Jesse Slater they were REALLY big as both his matches clinched the wins for the Dragons leaving the opponents unable to catch up. | The team will compete in the state team tournament Thursday at 9 am. Individual qualifiers will wrestle Friday and Saturday. |

The Adrian Dragon wrestling squad advanced to the state team tournament with victories over Quad County and Dawson-Boyd/LQPV. Adrian defeated Quad County (Renville County West, MACCRAY, Granite Falls, Clarkfield) by a score of 45-28 in the semifinals, before taking out the D-B/LQPV United 36-24 in the finals.
