RESOLUTION AMENDING SECTION 215.03, 215.04 AND 215.05THE CITY OF ELLSWORTH ORDAINS

as follows:

Ellsworth City Code Section 215.03 is hereby amended, in its entirety to read as follows:215.03 Meetings. The annual meeting of the Nursing Home Board shall be held on the third (3rd) Wednesday of January each year. At such meeting the Board shall elect a chairperson, vice-chairperson, secretary, and treasurer. The Board shall conduct monthly meetings at times and places as the Board may determine. Ellsworth City Code Section 215.04 is hereby amended, in its entirety to read as follows:215.04 Duties of Officers. The officers of the Nursing Home Board shall have the following duties and responsibilities, to-wit: (a) The chairperson shall preside at all meetings of the Board and he or she shall also sign and execute on behalf of the Board all contracts, orders, and other instruments or documents as may be authorized by the Board. (b) In the absence or disability of the chairperson, then the vice-chairperson shall perform all said duties. (c) The secretary shall keep an accurate record and accounting of all the activities of the Board. The secretary shall attest to all written contracts, instruments, and other documents executed for or on behalf of the Board. (d) The treasurer shall be responsible for signing checks or other financial documents as authorized and directed by the Board. The treasurer shall prepare, or cause to be prepared, such financial reports as requested or required by the Board. Ellsworth City Code Section 215.05, Subd. 3 is hereby amended, in its entirety to read as follows:215.05, Subd. 3 Financial. To hire a bookkeeper or other qualified individual who will keep the books and financial records of the Nursing Home. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect seven (7) days after publication.
