ORDINANCE NO. 75, 2ND SERIES
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ADRIAN, MINNESOTA, AMENDING ADRIAN CITY CODE, CHAPTER 9 ENTITLED "PARKING REGULATIONS” BY CHANGING PROVISIONS RELATING TO RECREATIONAL VEHICLE PARKING; BY CHANGING PROVISIONS RELATING TO TRUCK PARKING; AND, BY ADOPTING BY REFERENCE, CITY CODE CHAPTER l AND SECTION 9.99 WHICH, AMONG OTHER THINGS, CONTAIN PENALTY PROVISIONS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ADRIAN, MINNESOTA, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. City Code Section 9.03
Sec. 9.03. RECREATIONAL CAMPING VEHICLE AND UTILITY
TRAILER PARKING. Subd. 3. is hereby amended to read;
Subd. 3. Unlawful Act;
B. It is unlawful for any person to occupy a utility or recreational camping vehicle for human habitation within the City other than the Adrian Campground.
Section 2. City Code Section 9.17
Sec. 9.17. TRUCK PARKING. Subd. 2 and Subd. 3 are hereby amended to read;
Subd. 2. It is unlawful to park a detached semi-trailer or tractor/trailer combination upon any street, City-owned parking lot, or other public
property except sign-posted areas of streets as specifically designated by Council resolution.
Subd. 3. It is unlawful to park a truck or commercial vehicle of more than one ton capacity unless the vehicle is in a zone sign-posted allowing truck parking. Parking of such vehicle for a period of not more than thirty (30) minutes shall be permitted in such area for the purpose of necessary access to abutting property while actively loading or unloading when such access cannot reasonably be secured from an alley or from an adjacent street where truck parking is not restricted.
Section 3. City Code Chapter l entitled "General Provisions and Definitions Applicable to the Entire City Code Including Penalty for Violation" and Section 9.99 entitled "Violation a Misdemeanor or Petty Misdemeanor" are hereby adopted in their entirety, by reference, as though repeated verbatim herein.
