The Murray County Central / Fulda Rebels swept the Red Rock Conference cross country team championships October 15, 2018 at the Adrian Campground in cold mid-October temperatures. Ellsworth ran with full team and finished with 109 points.
Leading the Panthers Varsity team was Robby Armstrong 15th in 20:36; Linken Bossert, 21st in 21:36; Kade Boltjes, 29th in 22:13; Sam Kramer, 30th in 22:15 and Sean Boltjes 31st in 22:17. Other runners for Ellsworth were Cole Boltjes 57th in 25:15; Micah Onken 58th in 25:17 and Simon Boyenga 59th in 25:22.
Junior High finishers for Ellsworth were Logan Bossert (seventh, 7:59.0), Ellsworth seventh-grader Zach Onken (10th, 8:12.1) and Xavier Nussbaum 18th in 9:15.
Ellsworth will run next in the Section 3A meet on October 25th at Luverne.
