A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AND REVISING LICENSE AND PERMIT
FEES NOT SPECIFICALLY SET BY CITY CODE
WHEREAS, Section 6.04 of the Adrian City Code provides that license fees for licenses not specifically set by the Code, shall be fixed and determined by resolution of the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the following license fees shall be effective on and after May 29, 2019:
Assessment Search$ 20.00 each
Billiards/Pool tables$ 25.00 per year (limit 5 tables)
Bowling$ 50.00 per year
Business Solicitation$100.00 (not to exceed 5 consecutive business days)
Dance$ 50.00 per year or $25.00 per dance event
Demolition$ 50.00
Dog Fees;
Licenses$ 30.00 per dog, for the lifetime of dog
Pickup fee$ 30.00
Impound fee$ 10.00 per day
Fireworks/Pyrotechnics/Special Effects $ 50.00 per event
Golf Cart Permit$ 50.00 for lifetime/ownership
Hand Gun Permit$ 10.00
Lien $100.00
Placing a lien for expenses incurred in accordance with City Code Chapter 10.40; Public & Private
Nuisance, Subd. 5; Failure to Comply
Lien InterestCurrent APR
Interest accrued from date of invoice to the following May 15th in accordance to Chapter 10.40 of City
Code, Subd. 5
Moving$ 20.00
Mowing$ 100.00 per hour ($100 minimum charge)
Sewer Connection; Property owner$ 25.00 per year

Late Application$ 50.00 per year

(any work done in street R.O.W. requires a permit)
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution amends and invalidates Resolution #58, #160-1993, #282-1999, #348-2004, #421-2009 and #544-2018 to include additional fees.
