Benefit for Pam Simpson (Erdman) will be held at Rushmore Tavern

On Saturday, April 27th a pulled pork sandwich supper will be held for Pam Simpson (Erdman) at the Rushmore Tavern in Rushmore.  Pam is struggling with stage 4 small cell lung cancer.

Pam is a native of Rushmore, MN.  She graduated from Worthington High School in 1998 and continues to work in Worthington for Newport Labs.  Pam has four children and three grandchildren.  Two years ago, Pam married Alan Simpson and they make their home in Lismore.

On August 17, 2018, Pam was diagnosed with stage 4 small cell lung cancer with squamous features.  Since that time she has undergone chemotherapy (which acts directly on the cancerous tumor) and immunotherapy (acts on your immune system), and she is now on her second round of chemotherapy.

Friends and family of the Simpsons are hosting a pulled pork sandwich dinner, complete with salads, bars and drinks.  The dinner begins at 4:00 p.m. and goes until gone.  The silent auction will begin also at 4:00 p.m. and go until 8:00 p.m.  All the proceeds will go to the Simpsons to help with medical expenses.

Mark your calendars and come to the Rushmore Tavern, 120 N. Thompson Ave. in Rushmore, on Saturday, April 27th and show your support for Pam!
