A benefit for Mark Tiesler of Ellsworth will take place at Grove Park (aka: “Upper Park”) in Adrian, on Saturday, June 11, 2016; 1:00-6:00 p.m.
Mark Tiesler, an area farmer, has been diagnosed with Cirrhosis, a condition that affects the liver, and causes fatigue, weakness, fluid in the legs, jaundice, easy bruising, abdominal fluid, as well as other symptoms. Cirrhosis can lead to infections, and serious conditions such as hepatic encephalopathy, esophageal bleeding, and liver cancer. Mark has developed a common complication of Cirrhosis: Ascites, which is the accumulation of sodium in his system. If Mark’s current course of treatment is successful, he will soon be placed on a liver transplant list.
