The Adrian Senior High Knowledge Bowl team competed at the Sub- Regional Knowledge Bowl meet at Minnesota West, Jackson campus, on Friday, March 2, 2018. There were 10 schools there, with a total of 32 teams. Adrian had 7 teams participating in the meet.
Adrian placed 2nd Overall and has two teams advancing to the Regional Tournament in Marshall on Thursday, March 8, 2018. Students moving on are: Austin Metz, Maritza Beltran, Blake Madison, Nathan Varley, Tristan Thier, Skylar Polzine, Dustin John and Alexia Kemper. The team of Austin Metz, Maritza Beltran, Blake Madison and NathanVarley placed second. The top three at this meet will move on to the State Competition in Brainerd, MN on April 12 and 13.
This season, Adrian had 33 kids out for Knowledge Bowl in grades 9 -12. The team is coached by Mr. Robert Remme.
