The girls softball team traveled to Tracy on Tuesday, May 24 for the first round of sub-section softball. The girls had to play the number two seeded TMB softball team. Adrian Area started off the game with runners on second and third in the first inning, but were unable to score them. In the bottom of the first inning TMB also had runners on second and third with no outs, and the defense stepped up to keep them from scoring. In the top of the 2nd inning Becca Sjogren walked, Paige Bullerman and Jodi Bents hit singles to load the bases. Mady Neuenberg and Devin Dreesen both walked to score two runs giving them a 2-0 lead.
