The Adrian Youth wrestling earned a spot at the NYWA State Tournament in Rochester, MN April 6-8 with their third place finish at the regional tournament. The Adrian team went 3 and 1 in the Regional Tournament held in Tracy March 17th. The Dragons beat Minneota in their first match 42-34, they then lost to Marshall/Lakeview 21-45. The Dragons came back strong in their third match to dominate TMB/WWG 63-16 giving them a chance to wrestle for third place. The Adrian team came through in a nail biter winning 36-35 and punching their ticket to the state tournament.
