Seniors Michael Preuss and Logan Rogers lead Dragons to State!
Canby came into the game undefeated and Adrian had one loss. Adrian was the visitor in game one. The 1st game was at 5:00 and Adrian won this one 5 to 3. Then in the nightcap, with both teams now with one loss, Adrian won this one 6 to 1 and qualified for the Class A State Tourney.
In game one, Adrian had Landon Rogers starting, he went 1 & 2/3’s innings, allowing two runs on no hits, walking one and hitting two. Alex Loosbrock then came in and pitched one inning allowing one run on one hit, and two walks. Michael Preuss then pitched 1/3 of an inning, and retired the hitter. Logan Rogers came in for innings 4-5-6 & 7 and picked up the win, allowing no runs on no hits, walking two, and struck out 3.
