Our deep sympathy to the family and many friends of Nick Henning. Nick died in a terrible accident on a North Dakota highway on Tuesday, January 3rd. His funeral was Monday, January 9th at Risen Savior Catholic Church in Brandon, SD. Nick’s final resting place is in the St. Anthony Cemetery. Officiating was Father David Krogman, a former resident of Lismore. Assisting Father Krogman was Father Rick Colletti and Father Andrew Beerman. It was a comfort for these dedicated priests to offer Mass for their loved one. Nick is survived by his wife, Amanda and three children, Wyatt, Taryn and Brynn; his mother Bridget, sister Stacy, two brothers Matt and Lee and grandparents Pat and “Sonny” Henning; Bonnie Hinrichs and Billy Hinrichs; in-laws Larry and Deb Lenz; nieces and nephews and many dear friends. We pray that God will be very close to Nick’s family at this difficult time, blessed be the memory of Nick Henning.
