Congratulations to Larry and Lori Voss and the crew at Voss Lumber for 40 years in business!  That is quite a milestone!

Congratulations to the AHS girl’s Volleyball team for another win!  Way to go girls!

AHS football played in Springfield on this past Friday.  The defense is doing a great job!  Way to go Dragons!

Congratulations to Joyce McCarthy who was honored this past Friday with an award for the Outstanding Individual in Communication and Theater by the Communication and Theater Association of Minnesota.  A well deserved award!

The AHS Cross Country team ran in the Turkey Trot last Thursday, and continues to improve times.  They also ran in Marshall and placed 9th as a team.  Congratulations!

Congratulations to the AHS Band!  you looked good at the Turkey day Parade!

An open house retirement party was held for Lori Klooster at Sunrise View last Thursday, to celebrate her 40 years of service in the assisted living field.  Congratulations Lori and happy retirement!

The Adrian Country Living cottages held an open house for Mary Erwin last Friday, to celebrate her retirement after many years of service at the Cottages.  Many friends attended the open house.  Happy Retirement Mary!

The beautiful quilt Kay Cox won at the St. Anthony’s Church dinner has been put on display for all to enjoy and admire at the Country Cottages.  It is a beautiful work of art!  Thank you Pam Kramer!

Our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Jeff Nickel of Worthington, who was killed in an accident on Saturday, September 8. God bless the memory of Jeff Nickel.

Our deepest sympathies go out to the family of James Odenbrett who passed away this past Saturday, Sept. 15.  God bless the memory of James Odenbrett.

Well the Vikings definitely had their ups and downs on Sunday.  With chances to win by both teams, I guess a tie will have to do!  Their next game is Sunday, Sept. 23, taking on the Buffalo Bills at home.

Our deepest sympathies to the family of Jeanette Rogers.  Jeanette passed away on Sept. 7th in Nebraska.  God bless the memory of Jeanette Rogers.

Guests who accompanied Kay Cox to St. Adrian’s Fall Dinner were Laura Bosch, Paul and Diane Bosch, all of Brandon, SD and Lee Rust from Luverne.  They all ate well and thoroughly enjoyed the roast beef and real mashed potatoes.

Jarod Boltjes, son of Herman Jr (Dawn) Boltjes and Audrey Boltjes will be dancing one of the lead roles in the live performance of The Great Gatsby in Minneapolis in October.  Watch for an article on Jarod.
