Well we finally got a little rain.  The farmers have been working hard to finish and now it’s time for some rain.  Adrian gauges showed about a 1/2” early Saturday morning, while Luverne tallied an inch.  Let it rain!

Be sure to check out the life-size games at the Adrian Campground.  There is chess and checkers.  Anyone is able to go and play at no cost.

Saturday night movies are back!  They will be showing at dusk on Saturdays at the lower park, weather permitting.  Bring your own seats and snacks.  Child supervision is required!

Kay Cox ran across a clip from the May 10, 2009 Argus leader entitled “Keep your shoulders straight.”  The letter said that this person’s mother told her hundreds of times, “Child, please straighten your shoulders and you will walk properly.”  Kay’s mother has been gone  forty-nine years, but Kay says she still can hear her mother tell her that same thing.

On Tuesday, May 29, sixteen residents of Adrian Country Cottages spent an hour being entertained by the music of Bruce Dyske.  It was reported that feet were tapping and bodies were moving to the great music and of course there were treats served after the concert!

Thought for the week:  Don’t let the world steal your confidence.  Remember that you have been created on purpose by the hand of God.  He has a special, unique, wonderful plan for you.  Go for it!
