Century Farms to be featured in the Nobles County Review Harvest Special Issue, August 9, 2017, will be Landel and Marlene Bullerman, Adrian, MN, Orville and Ruth Heidebrink, Rushmore, MN, Leroy Ennenga, Wilmont, MN, Klosterbuer Farm, Ellsworth, MN.  Look for the issue at the Nobles County Review.

I have an 80 acre piece of land east of Lismore that has been in the Loonan/Cox name for many years.   It was a Century Farm in 1996.  The land is being farmed by my grandson Mitchell Cox.

I received   the Rock County Historical Society Newsletter last week and the History Center is now open for everyone who would like to see the results of remodeling of the  old Ford garage in Luverne. They are still working on some parts of the landscaping and will be opening a new gift center also.  Luverne can be proud of this great undertaking.  Stop by and browse

around.  Volunteers will show you this great project.  The new gift shop will be called The Christmas House.

Catholic Daughters #247 of Adrian are having there annual salad/dessert luncheon on Wednesday, July 12th.  Bring a friend and enjoy the delicious food in air conditioned comfort.  Only $7.00 per person.

Many thanks to our great park board members!  They all deserve a pat or many pats on their backs for making Adrian a place of beauty by the hours of hard work the do.  Thanks to all of you for your dedication.

Thanks to Voss Lumber for helping our library with you generous offer to store the material until is was ready to be installed.  Our little towns in this area are so generous in their offers to help serve one another.

Saw a quote last week in the Methodist Church Bulletin   “ The best gift I ever received from God and I call him Dad.”.  Hope all dads had a great day.

Our good friend Donna Essman will be moving to Alexandria, MN very soon.  We wish this great lady much joy as she will be living near a daughter and grandchildren.

Don’t forget the Red Cross Bloodmobile will be in Adrian on July 6th at the High School.  Call Al and Cindy Cox at 483-2215 (office) or Cindy at cell 507-360-0357.  Walk-ins are welcome.

Rims and Ribs will be July 14th behind the Government Building in Adrian.  You can go to the Grand Opening at the Adrian Library and then have some delicious ribs.   Good deal.
