The Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service was held at Zion Lutheran Church on Tuesday, November 22.  Taking part in the program was Pastor Krisiti Franken from United Methodist Church, Father Rick Colletti from St. Adrian Catholic Church and Deacon Robert Ossefoort from Zion Lutheran.  Music was provided by Cindy Knips, and the assembly was encouraged to participate.  The program  revolved around being thankful at all times, not just at Thanksgiving.  Refreshments were served after the program.  It was an evening of good fellowship.

It seemed that a lot of Black Friday shoppers were out in the stores the day after Thanksgiving.  I was content to watch football!  How about those Vikings!! They sure are giving us lots of excitement!

The Spencer Gosch family stopped by the Kay Cox home on Sunday morning to say “Hi”!  They had spent Thanksgiving at the home of Len and Lisa Bullerman in Omaha, Ne.  The three Gosch children, Teagan, Brady and Renmey were so happy to play with their cousins, and the parents were thankful for the good weather!  Lots of memories were made.

Alice and Virgil Cook celebrated Thanksgiving at the home of their daughter and her husband, Lori and Eugene Mulder in Brandon, SD.  Joining them were the Jon and Jodi Thier family; Shawn and Tammy Wittry family; and Brad and Carmell Cook and their family.  Everyone had a great time, the food was wonderful, the weather was nice and the little “kids” had a great time.

LuAnn and Ron Reisdorfer celebrated Thanksgiving at the home of their son Jeff and his wife Schanna at Russell, MN.  There were fourteen at the dinner table, enjoying a great Thanksgiving feast.  Jeff’s door was open for lots of friends!  I think they all take after Grama Loretta Spartz!!

I want to again thank those good souls who pick me up and take me along to different events, and then take me back home.  You don’t know how much I appreciate it!
