With all the sadnesses we have had in our area this past year, let’s not forget the Sandra Suedkamp Miracle. She is at home and according to Vern, walking with her walker, eating, and getting back to her “ornery” self. Good for you Sandy! We wouldn’t want it any other way. Keep up the good work and thank you God!
Let’s also keep in mind all of those who need our prayers and extra thoughts.
Our deepest sympathy to the family of Molly Einck. She went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, Sept. 17th, surrounded by those she loved most. Little Molly fought so hard against her heart defect. Rest in peace Molly!
AHS homecoming was celebrated last week. It was a successful week, with lots of fun, dress ups, and wins for all of the teams. What a great way to celebrate.
The football team won handily against TMB on Friday night with a score of 20-6; The volleyball team won both nights; Tuesday against Ellsworth 25-7, 25-17 and 25-16, and Thursday against Garretson 25-22, 25-22 and 25-14. The Cross Country team was well represented in both Windom and Milaca. What a great week for Adrian athletics.
The Adrian Marching Dragons also traveled to Waseca on Saturday for the first time in many years, to participate in the Waseca Marching Classic. They placed third in their class. Congratulations!

The Tri-State Band Festival is set for this coming Saturday. There are 28 bands from the surrounding area coming to participate this year. The parade begins at 9:30 a.m. on Main Street in Luverne. Mark your calendars.

Tony and Darla Parsley are again collecting coats from now through the end of October. If you have gently used coats of any size or winter clothing, please drop them off at 517 Maine Ave. so someone who is in need will get a warm coat before winter sets in.
Can you believe September is almost over and Fall is officially here? Where did the summer go? The butterflies are everywhere before heading south. One note, there are less than 90 days till Christmas!!
Thought for the week: There are many unknowns in life-a spouses job, our children’s struggles, a tentative move, critical talk behind our backs, bills to pay, aged parents, a search for our own identity. Let go completely. Trust. Live with it all in an open hand before God. Jesus promises He will work it all out. I do believe for you a new sunrise!
Have a great week!
