Another Spring snowstorm in the books. They have said we had another “bomb” as we did a number of weeks ago. Let’s hope this is the last one, with nicer weather to stay!
A benefit in honor of Pam (Erdman) Simpson will be held on Saturday, April 27th at the Rushmore Tavern in Rushmore. A pulled pork dinner will begin at 4:00 pm, followed by a silent auction from 4-8:00 p.m. Pam was diagnosed in August 2018 with small cell, stage 4 lung cancer. She has had chemo and immunotherapy and is currently on the next round of chemo. Let’s all show our support as she continues her fight against cancer.
Our deepest sympathies to the family of Landel “Boysie” Bullerman. Boysie passed away on Thursday, April 11th at the Sanford Luverne Medical Center in Luverne. Boysie’s funeral was held on Monday, April 15th at St. Adrian Catholic Church. Blessed be the memory of Boysie Bullerman.
Continued prayers for Sandy Suedkamp. She has been struggling with some health issues and needs all of our prayers.

Congratulations to Joe and Punky Dorn on their 60th Wedding Anniversary! The kids and many of their grandkids and great-grandkids are coming home and they will have a big family get together over the Easter weekend. Congratulations to you!
If you’ve been keeping up with the posts on Molly Einck, after a set-back, she is doing really well. She may possibly be on the road home real soon. Continued prayers for Molly and her family.
The Marten Twins benefit was well attended this past Sunday! What a great way to show your support to another family that needs our continued prayers and support. Little Tucker is improving each day! Keep up the prayers!
“Cousins for a Cure” Craft and Vendor Event, a benefit for Cystic Fibrous will be held on May 4th from 9 a.m.- 2 p. m. at the Adrian High School gym. Mark your calendars!

This coming week the AHS spring sports will try once again to get back on track. Golf is scheduled to be at home on Tuesday, Apr. 23 hosting the Adrian Invitational. Track and Field is scheduled for away meets on Friday, April 19th at Pipestone, and Tuesday, April 23 at Luverne. Boys baseball is away at MCC on Thursday, April, 18th (all 3 teams) and home against HLOF on Tuesday, April 23 (varsity and MS) while the JV is at HLOF. Girls softball is home in Ellsworth on Thursday, April 18 against MCC and away at HLOF on Tuesday, April 23.
Thought for the week: If you were born in the 1930s, 40s, 50’s, 60s, 70s and early 80s-congratulations to you! You survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank while pregnant. They took aspirin, ate blu cheese dressing, tuna from a tin and did not get tested for diabetes. You drank water from the garden hose, shared soft drinks with at least 4 friends, ate cake, white bread and real butter and didn’t get fat…because you were always outside playing all day, until the street lights came on! How times have changed!
