Adrian Legion Baseball Heads to State

Leading up to this summer, some of the members of Argonne Post 32, the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 32 and others had been working diligently to get the Post baseball program back up and running.  Greg Kruger, who had coached the program in the past, and Lance Rogers took command of the newly organized team during the spring,  had only to wait until the end of the High School Baseball season for their players to enter the league.

With the extended high school season, that led to a third place finish at the state tournament, the Legion season was cut short.  The coaches had only four games to play, which left them one short of qualifying for tournament play.  A quick make up game changed that, and Post 32 entered the District 2 qualifier in Luverne on the 8th of July.
