On Friday, July 29th, the Argonne Post 32 baseball team participated in pool play at the 2016 American Legion State Tournament.  After winning the Second District tournament the previous Saturday they travelled to Le Sueur for the nine team contest.

At 10 AM, they faced the team from Watertown in their first game.  It was a pitchers’ duel, featuring Alex Loosbrock on the mound.  The only scoring for Adrian would come in the third inning as Ryan Weineke scored on a two out single after being called out at home, but Coach Lance Rogers protested and won on base-runner interference by the Watertown 3rd baseman.  Logan Rogers stole third and then scored on an error, making the score 2-0.
