Adrian High School Hall of Fame Informational Meeting Held

0

An informational meeting to discuss the proposed Hall of Fame for the past and present; public and private Adrian schools was held Monday, June 6th in the high school library.

Adrian residents, school staff and past coaches attended the meeting.  Tim Christensen and Bruce Loosbrock presented their plan for the Hall of Fame.  Loosbrock and Randy Strand have been talking about a Hall of Fame for the past few years and are now setting their plan into action.

The purpose of the meeting is to get information out to the public about the hall of fame and inform others of what they can do to help get it up and running.

The reason for the Hall of Fame is to give recognition to community members, coaches, school staff, board members, etc. who deserve it.  Whether it be in Athletics, Academics or Fine Arts.

The Hall of Fame will be self sufficient through fund raising and donations.

A future meeting open to the public is being planned for later this summer to choose committee members, create bylaws, the criteria of the nomination process and many other items that go along with the organization.

Read the Nobles County Review for the next meeting date and please plan to attend.
