The Dragons hosted Southwest Minnesota Christian on Tuesday, October 11. SWMC won the match in 3 games. The Dragons were unable to pull any sort of momentum together in the first set and were easily defeated 6-25. The Dragons decided to prove to themselves that they could compete against SWMC and pulled the second set closer, but still lost 20-25. The third set, and the best set for the Dragons, looked like it would end in their favor. However, the Dragons were not able to seal the deal and lost 23-25. Miah Kunkel provided 7 kills for the Dragons and 3 blocks. Kasie Tweet added 4 kills and served 10-10 from the service line with 1 ace. Spot-server Lexi Slater served 8-8 from the service line. Slater also had 10 digs for the Dragons.
