Adrian Defeats Lac qui Parle Valley 20 to 0

The Adrian Dragons hosted the Eagles from Lac qui Parle Valley last Friday evening and won a big game 20 to 0.  With the win, the Dragons take a huge step towards locking up the number one seed in Section 3 A for the playoffs.

Adrian took the opening kickoff and traveled into a stiff wind moving from their 20 yard line to the 41 yard line, before penalties and poor blocking forced Adrian to punt.  The Eagles took over and used just 3 plays and punted it back to Adrian.

Adrian followed with just 3 plays and punted it back to the Eagles.  Lac qui Parle Valley used two plays when Colton Struxness fumbled and Mitchell Wagner came up with the recovery.

Adrian traveled all the way down to the Eagle 6 and fumbled the ball into the end zone for a touchback.

After 6 plays, the Eagles punted the ball back to Adrian.  The Dragons used 14 plays to go 56 yards with Alex Loosbrock scoring from 3 yards out on 4th and goal.  The PAT by Dominiq Canals made the score Adrian 7 and Lac qui Parle Valley 0 at the 3:27 mark of the 2nd quarter.

The Eagles, eager to get back into the game, went to the air and Dakota John intercepted the ball and returned it 65 yards down the side line.  The PAT by Canales was good and Adrian led 14 to 0 at the 1:21 mark of the 2nd quarter.

Adrian received the opening kick in the 3rd quarter and moved the ball from their 20 yard line to the Eagle 23 and faced a 4th down and 4.  Adrian got 3 yards on a Frank Serrao run and turned the ball over on downs.

The Eagles were stopped on 3 plays and punted the ball back to Adrian, they again drove down to the Eagle 25 yard line and were stopped on downs.
