Rogers Strikes Out 13 – Hendel’s Bat Stays Hot
Section 3A Baseball had come down to 3 teams on Tuesday evening, with Canby waiting for the winner of Adrian vs KMS. Canby gets to play Adrian on Thursday, as the Dragons beat the Fighting Saints 8 to 1, behind the 13 strikeout performance of Logan Rogers. Canby is undefeated and Adrian has one loss.
Logan Rogers pitched the first 6 innings, allowing one run on two hits, striking out 11. Then Adrian put in a relief pitcher in the 7th, but he hit one hitter and walked two more to load the bases with one out. Adrian brought Logan Rogers back in, he struck out the last two hitters to end the game.
