Loosbrock Picks Up the Win – Rogers the Save!

After a heart breaking loss to the Springfield Tigers, the Adrian Dragons had to re-group and take on Hinckley-Finlayson for 3rd place in the State Class A Baseball Tourney.  A game at Chaska, with impending weather approaching, the Dragons were pushed back into action just 15 minutes after their Semi-Final game with Springfield.  The Jaguars from Hinckley-Finlayson sported a 19 and 7 record while Adrian had a 20 and 8 record.

The Dragons started Sophomore Landon Rogers while Hinckley-Finlayson started Connor Olson, who had just 15 innings under his belt.

Hinckley-Finlayson took advantage of Landon Rogers early in this one as they scored 3 quick runs.  A walk to Adam Bridenstine and then two consecutive singles by Cody Dunkley and TJ Johnson made the score 3 to 0.  Alex Loosbrock was called to duty next for Adrian and the Dragons got out of the 1st inning trailing 3 to 0.
