Adrian Branch Library Renovation Project

On April 19, 2016, the plan to renovate the Adrian Branch Library was approved by the Nobles County Commissioners.

Library services in Adrian began with a WPA project in 1943. Library services have been held in three different buildings over the 75 years of its existence. The first building to house a library in Adrian was connected to Fritz barbershop. The second building’s exact location is not known (looking for answers on that one), although I believe it was across the street from the current location. The third building is the current one, built in 1963 with a combination of county funds and local donations. The building is now 53 years old. Approximately 15 years ago, the entry and windows were replaced. There have been furnace and air conditioner replacements
