Adrian vs RTR
The Dragon Boys Basketball team won their first game by defeating RTR by the score of 66 to 57 on Saturday, December 3rd. The Dragons were 25 of 39 from the field for 64%. The Dragons had a 36 to 22 rebounding edge. As a team the Dragons had 16 assists. Zachary Hendel led the way with 21 points; Mitchell Lonneman had 13 points and 9 rebounds. Ryan Wieneke had 11 points and 5 assists. Frank Serrao added 8 points off the bench.
Adrian vs Southwest Minnesota Christian
The Dragons Boys’ Basketball team beat the Eagles of Southwest Minnesota Christian by the score of 59 to 47 on Tuesday, December 6th. The Dragons shot 23 of 53 for 53% from the field. The Dragons won the rebounding battle 27 to 13. As a team, the Dragons had 17 assists. Zachary Hendel had 20 points for the Dragons. Mitchell Lonneman added 13 points and 10 rebounds. Frank Serrao had 9 points off the bench for Adrian. Jacob Stamer had 5 assists for the Dragons. Ryan Wieneke and Zachary Biermann did a nice job on Southwest Christian’s guards.
Adrian vs Ellsworth
The Dragons Boys’ Basketball team beat Ellsworth 72 to 53 on Friday, December 9th. The Dragons raced out to a 9 to 0 lead. The Dragons were 32 of 64 from the field for 50%. The Dragons had 28 rebounds to Ellsworth’s 10. As a team, the Dragons had 20 assists. Mitchell Lonneman led the way with 19 points for the Dragons. Jacob Stamer had 13 points and 4 assists. Zachary Hendel and Nate Lonneman each added 12 points. Zachary Biermann led the Dragons with 4 assists. The Dragons will host Edgerton Public for their first home game of the season on Tuesday, December 13th.
