The Adrian Legion Post 32 has not sponsored a team since 2010. This year thanks to a lot of time and effort by Adrian Legion members and coaches Lance Rogers and Greg Kruger, the Adrian Legion team is back and enjoying a successful season as they head to Springfield on Saturday for the Second District championship.
In the regular season Adrian had a record of 3-2. They played in the sub-district tournament on July 9th and came away with a 1-0 win over Pipestone but turned around and took a 0-10 loss to Luverne.
The team advanced into the District Tournament, down four of their players due to prior commitments. Missing from the roster were Michael Preuss, Ryan Wieneke, Jake Stamer and Ian Stamer. Coaches Lance Rogers and Greg Kruger knew they had to have some players come off the bench and make some key plays if they were going to advance in the tournament.
