The 13th annual Nolte reunion was held on Saturday, June 16, 2016 at the Countryside Inn at Adrian, MN. Family members attending were Ben and Kay Masselink, Kent and Jami Metzer, Sioux Falls ,SD; Dale and Barb Larson,
Garretson, SD; Mimi Drenth, Rock Rapids, IA; Dr George and Marg Shurr, Ruth Birkett, Skip Birkett, Ellsworth; and Pat Birkett, Richmond, VA.
On Tuesday evening the Ellsworth Red Hatters met at the Oakwood Apartments in Ellsworth for their monthly gathering. After lunch, the gals worked on decorations for the October Red Hatters Convention. Those attending were

Sympathy to all the Buchholz family, Leonard Buchholz, Marshall, MN died on July 14, 2016. He was the husband of Mary Beth Jenniges, Mary is the daughter of Mary Jenniges, Ellsworth and has many siblings in the area.
Representing the Ellsworth Legion Post as Color Guard in Adrian at “The Christmas in July” parade were; Paul DeBuhr, Marlin DeBuhr and Lonnie Boltjes. Skip Birkett pulled the float with the Adrian and Ellsworth Veterans that wanted to participate but could not walk the route.
