Board Chair Wolf called the special meeting of the Adrian Board of Education to order at 6:18 P.M. on March 9, 2020. Members present: Bullerman, Kruger, Kunkel, Lenz, Madison, and Wolf. Also present was Principal Koehne, Dean of Students Schettler, and, MSBA Representatives Sandy Gundlach and Wendy Schoolmeester.
Board Members Wieneke was absent.
Reviewed the hiring criteria. Motion by Lenz, seconded by Kunkel to approve the amended hiring criteria for the Superintendent Vacancy, motion carried.
Member Wieneke arrived at 6:22 pm.
Reviewed and amended the Superintendent Vacancy Announcement. Sandy Gundlach will send the amended version for approval from the Board Chair before publishing.
Reviewed and discussed the salary range for the Superintendent position. Motion by Wieneke to set the starting salary range at $115,000 to $130,000, seconded by Kruger, motion carried.
Motion by D. Bullerman, seconded by Madison to adjourn the Special March 9, 2020 meeting of the Adrian Board of Education at 6:47 P.M., motion carried.
