The weather has been a joy. The snow has been disappearing very fast and the ice has lost its grip on our lives. It can change fast as we well know from last year.

I’m back from vacation in Mexico and it was great. We were joined by friends in different places. The weather was great in the comfortable seventies and eighties. We were fishing one day with good results. Ten to thirty pound bonitoes were the most common. I was doing well until Louise started catching two at once. It was her first time on the big water. So it had to be fluke or fantastic skill. We had a few of them grilled and they were great, particularly with tequila.

There is a strong concern over the coronavirus or Covid 19 that has gripped the world and this week it has not improved. There is a lot more regular flu around but you are more likely to die from the coronavirus. Caution is recommended. I did not see a concern in Mexico but there was a cruise ship problem. I have no idea how that came out. Airports showed some concern. I’m sure that will escalate.

So I’m back on a temporary basis providing you with the little things that will help you thru the day. Rumors of having sold the papers are just that, rumors. You will be some of the first to know when that time comes. See you next week right here.

Little Johnny came home from his first day at school.

Little Johnny: I’m not going back tomorrow!

Mom: Why not, what happened?

Little Johnny: Well, I can’t read and I can’t write, and they won’t let me talk—so what’s the use?
