The special meeting of the Adrian Board of Education was called to order by chairman Lenz at 12:00 PM on Tuesday November 12, 2019. Members present: Kruger, Kunkel, Lenz, Madison, Wieneke and Wolf.
Member Bullerman was absent.
The purpose of the meeting was to canvass the election results of the special election held on November 5, 2019. A total of 387 votes were cast during the special election for the one year school board term, with Chad Wieneke receiving 335 votes, and 14 write-in votes. Referendum Question #1 received 324 YES votes and 63 NO votes, and Referendum Question 2 received 276 YES votes and 106 NO votes with 5 under votes. A motion by Wolf to approved the resolution canvassing the returns of votes cast, seconded by Madison, motion carried.
Motion by Wolf, seconded by Kruger to adjourn the special November 12, 2019 meeting of the Adrian Board of Education at 12:04 pm, motion carried.
