Little I at SDSU

March 29th, 2019! members of the Luverne-Adrian FFA participated in the annual Little I General Livestock, Dairy judging contests at the college in SDSU.

Adrian members participating in the Dairy Cattle Judging contest included Jaimie Ross, Paige Hinrichs, Tanner Hinrichs, Blake Madison, Paige Madison, and Austin Henning. The top team placed 12th out of 46 teams, Individually, Jaimie Ross had a high score of 41st and Tanner Hinrichs was 49th.

Hannah Kruse participated in the General Livestock contest.

Region 6 FFA General Livestock, Dairy, and Dairy Handlers contest

On Friday April 5th members of the Luverne-Adrian FFA participated in the Region 6 General Livestock, Dairy, and Dairy Handlers Contest. Hannah Kruse and Tanner Hinrichs participated in the Dairy Handlers contest. They both placed 3rd and 4th respectively and qualified to participate in the Minnesota FFA State Convention Dairy

In the Handlers CDE event. The Dairy Cattle Judging team was made up of Paige Madison, Jaimie Ross, and Blake Madison. Paige placed 6th overall individually and qualified to participate  in the Minnesota State FFA Convention Dairy Judging contest.

FFA Farm Safety Demonstration-  at the Adrian Grade School

On Thursday, April 14th, six Adrian FFA members brought in farm, recreational, and livestock for the annual Farm Safety Demonstration for the Adrian 4th grade class. The Adrian

Ambulance was one of the four stations. Livestock handling was covered by Paige Hinrichs, Hannah Kruse, and Paige Madison. Tanner Hinrichs and Austin Henning talked about Gravity Flow Wagon safety. Jaimie Ross talked about safety with four wheeler’s.
